I am grateful and honored to be one of your Russellville Middle School Assistant Principals this year. I have been an educator for 22 years. I began my teaching career as a graduate assistant at Arkansas Tech University. In 2002, I became an English teacher at Russellville High School. After 20 years in the classroom, I transitioned to an Instructional Facilitator position at the Conway School District for one year. I am excited to begin the next phase of my career as an administrator back in the Russellville School District, which will forever be my home.
I graduated in 1996 from Dover High School. I attended Arkansas Tech University where I received a BA in English in 2001, a Master of Liberal Arts Degree (Communication) in 2006, a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2019, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2021.
I have been married to my best friend Bill since 1997, and we have six children, thirteen grandchildren, two dogs, and a cat. I also have over 2,400 former students who will forever be labeled as “Casey’s kids.” (If you know, you know!) I am looking forward to adding to this number as I continue to build relationships with the families and community members of Russellville.
