RSD Announces Bryant as the New Head Coach of the RHS Girls Soccer Team

Russellville School District is excited to announce Jonathan Bryant as the new Head Coach of the RHS Girls Soccer team. Coach Bryant brings over 13 years of coaching experience at various levels.

Coach Bryant is in his 6th year as an educator in Russellville School District and is currently the Russellville Junior High Assistant Football coach and the RHS Boys Soccer Assistant Coach.  During his time as the Boys Assistant Coach, Bryant has accumulated multiple state titles. When it comes to coaching athletics, Coach Bryant believes in hard work and preparation. This includes doing the little things that everyone takes for granted.

RSD Athletic Director, Ben Goodman, commented, “Coach Bryant has been a part of several state championship soccer teams in his career, so he understands what it takes to get a team to compete at a championship level. I am very excited that he has chosen to lead these young ladies this spring to ensure they have the best opportunity to be successful.”

Coach Bryant says he’s grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the great athletes of Russellville: “I am honored to have been selected for this position and I will strive to continue the tradition of excellence that has been established for many years.”

Jonathan and his wife, Ashley, have been married for 14 years and have two sons: Jaxon (age 11) and Knox (age 4). Jonathan and Ashley are both graduates of Arkansas Tech where Ashley currently serves as the Director of Grants and Donor Relations. The Bryant family  lives  in Russellville and enjoys spending time attending RSD and ATU sporting events, visiting family, and hosting friends for a good cookout.

Congratulations, Coach Bryant!
