Russellville Junior High School (RJHS) has achieved High Reliability Schools (HRS) Level 2 certification, becoming the second school in Russellville School District to reach this milestone. This accomplishment reflects RJHS’s dedication to fostering highly effective teaching practices across all classrooms.
The High Reliability Schools framework, developed by Marzano Research, is a research-based model designed to help schools enhance their operations and improve student outcomes. Level 2 certification ensures that effective teaching is consistently implemented in every classroom.
To earn this certification, RJHS met rigorous criteria, including evidence of a collaborative teaching culture, supporting teacher effectiveness, and establishing systems to monitor and enhance student learning.
RJHS Principal, Mr. Matt Kordsmeier, commented, “I am extremely proud of our staff and the work that they are doing in the classroom to help our students learn and grow. We have high expectations for our students and multiple ways to support them in their learning and this award shows that we are putting these practices in effect.”
Congratulations to the students and staff of RJHS for this outstanding accomplishment!
