RSD Names Deputy Superintendent 

RUSSELLVILLE Ark. - Mr. Jeff Holt has been named Deputy Superintendent of Russellville School District. In this new role, Holt will oversee District processes in assessment, accountability, facilities, safety, technology, and transportation.  


“I am blessed to be selected as the RSD Deputy Superintendent and excited to have the opportunity to work with Dr. McDonald and the amazing staff across RSD. It is truly an honor to work in a District that cares tremendously about kids, and I look forward to being a part of it for many years to come,” said Jeff Holt, Deputy Superintendent, Russellville School District.


“I am delighted for Mr. Holt to serve as Deputy Superintendent for the Russellville School District. His knowledge, experience, and passion for the District is evident in his leadership, and I look forward to achieving excellence together,” said Dr. Ginni McDonald, the Superintendent of Russellville School District.


Prior to being named Deputy Superintendent, Holt served as Assistant to the Superintendent for Operations Safety Coordinator since July 2021, where he assisted with financial planning, improving school safety, and overseeing transportation programs and facility projects.


Prior to his role as Assistant to the Superintendent for Operations Safety Coordinator, Holt served in the District as Assistant Principal at Russellville Middle School, Director of Safety, and Head High School Football Coach. In 2019, he received the Safe School Leadership Award for Administrator of the Year. He has been with the District for 23 years. 


Mr. Holt and his wife, Cherish, have two sons, Zak and Tommy, both graduates of RHS. Mrs. Holt serves as a teacher at Russellville Intermediate School and has been with the District for 22 years.
