ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RSD: LEADERSHIP CHANGES FOR THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR
Russellville Interim Superintendent Andrew Vining has created his own Superintendent's leadership team compiled of four RSD administrators instead of rehiring an Assistant Superintendent.
Jeff Holt, Judy Pennington, Mary Beth Cox, and Dr. Brittany Turner have assumed their new roles for this upcoming school year.
Holt was previously the Safety Coordinator for the district as well as Vice Principal at Russellville Middle School. He will now serve the leadership team as Assistant to the Superintendent of Operations.
Pennington prior was the Director for Curriculum and Instruction for Secondary Education. She will now be in the role of Assistant to the Superintendent for Personnel.
Russellville High School Vice Principal Mary Beth Cox, has assumed the role of Assistant to the Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, and Director of Special Services, Dr. Brittany Turner will act as the Assistant to the Superintendent for Support Services on the Superintendent leadership team.
Team meeting June 21, at 6 p.m.
RMS & RJHS students who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine in May are scheduled for their second dose in order to complete their vaccination.
Please make plans to bring your student to Oakland Heights Elementary from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m.
If you can not make it today you may contact Newton's Pharmacy and make an appt. with them, 479.968.1157. Completed immunization cards will be given to students at either location.

Any meds left will be destroyed after the last day of school if not retrieved.

Parents must pick up medication from school nurse by the last day of school! It is against the law to keep meds over the summer, so all will be destroyed after the last day of school if not retrieved.
REMINDER: Russellville schools will dismiss an hour early this Thursday, May 20th. For more information please contact your child's school.

Reminder for those high school students and parents who plan on receiving the second dose of the COVID vaccine tomorrow-
please bring a signed, separate consent form and your immunization card with you.
Students who would like to participate may receive their first vaccine with a signed consent form.
Forms can be found in the high school office. Newton's Pharmacy plans on beginning the vaccine clinic on campus at 9:30 a.m.
Per Mr. Johnny Johnson: due to inclement weather, the High School Conference Track Meet will be moved from Thursday to Friday.
Don't forget! Cyclone Cycling- RSD's mountain bike team, is having a team interest meeting at Old Post Park on Thursday, April 29th at 6pm at pavilion GS08.
