First grade math can be so much fun! Ms. Golden's students teamed up with partners to build bridges using a variety of 3D shapes. This activity helped them understand how different shapes can work together to form new structures—while also encouraging teamwork and problem solving!

Mrs. Hudson’s kindergarten class is practicing their math skills with addition. The students were given counters that they got to shake, spill, and sort to create the two addends that they would need to write to find the missing sum.

Congratulations to our fabulous Oakland Heights Teacher of the Year, Keri Letson! This is Mrs. Letson's 24th year teaching kindergarten at OHE.
