The December Student of the Month is 8th grader Kara Vaughn and she was nominated by Mrs. Herring. Here is what she had to say about Kara: "She is one of the kindest students I have had the pleasure to work with. She can be soft spoken, but is always willing to help her fellow classmates with a smile. She is studious and grateful and just an overall wonderful human being. Sometimes I am not sure she is aware of the positive impact she has on the other students around her."
The December Employee of the Month is Mr. Matt Young and he was nominated by Aubrey Howerton. Here is what she had to say about Mr. Young: "He has been an incredible support system for our team. He is always willing to share his knowledge and advise us on strategies to use that will best support our student's success. I am grateful for his willingness to be involved in our team as an Administrator and how and how he kindly encourages us to be the best teachers possible. I am excited that he is a part of the RJHS Whirlwind Family."
