RJHS Choir Director Named Choir Director of the Year

Mrs. Katy Brockinton, choir director at Russellville Junior High School, has been awarded the Carrie Taylor Distinguished Director Award for the second year in a row!  Katy was voted on by her peers, the choir directors of Region 4. Under her direction, the choirs at Russellville Middle School and Russellville Junior High have consistently received Superior Ratings at Choral Performance Assessment in both Performance and Sight Reading.  Each year several of her students are selected for the Region 4 All Region Choirs. She has had 2 back to back record breaking years for number of students in the All Region Choirs since being at Russellville Junior High.
