Please join Chess & Game Club at Russellville City Mall for their first Family Board Game Night. The event is next Thursday, December 21st from 5 - 8 PM.
Students in Mrs. Maxwell's classes learned about the water filtration system and worked together to create their own water filtration systems. We love seeing real-world experience being used in the classroom! #GoGales #galePROUD
Our 6th grade students learned about Animal Allies in their ELA classes and decided to collect items for a local animal shelter as a service project! We are collecting items through Friday, December 15th! Thank you for participating!

The RMS Robotic Teams competed Dec 2nd in our first tournament. One of our teams was able to place first in the skills competition an another team placed first in the entire tournament, scoring a place in the state tournament at the end of the school year.
7th graders attended a field trip last week through their Social Studies class. They got to tour the Historic Arkansas Museum and the Old State House to learn all about life in Arkansas during these times.
Our Intro to Coding classes finished up our 3D design unit by creating Lithophanes. These are 2D images that we convert to a 3D image to shine light through. As they get printed off, students are able to take home their creations. We love seeing our student's amazing creations! Go Gales!
Mrs. Maxwell's classes are learning about rocket fuel this week. Students built rockets out of cardboard boxes and then raced to see who could make it the furthest with their rocket. Congratulations to those that received the Butterfly Award for longest distance!

Congratulations to the winner of the "Clash of the Gales" competition, Mr. McClure! This week teachers competed in a rock, paper, scissors competition. Each teacher started off with a beaded necklace. If they lost, they had to give their beads to the winner. Way to go Mr. McClure!
We had the cutest campus ambassador visit our 6th grade ELA classes yesterday! Jerry the Bulldog stopped by to work with the ELA department on their Animal Allies unit. Heather Stracner brought Jerry III to discuss his role in connecting students with the community.
